Last night I second shot for Kristie Ottinger at the wedding of Jennifer and Patrick. Jennifer Patrick were probably THE MOST entertaining couple of the year. Just as Jennifer is ready to walk down the aisle, Patrick announced to the audience " I'm really excited!" Their humor carried through the night, as they enacted a musical representation of "Paradise by the Dashboard light" I loved watching them dance to "I'm too sexy" for their fist dance! This couple makes each other laugh and I for see a life full of happiness for them. Congratulations you two!

Michele and Jared were married last night in a small intimate ceremony held at Cave Creek's El Encanto. Michele had gorgeous flower arrangements, a warm fire for her guests and adorable candy apple favors. She put a lot of thought into sharing this special day with her guests. Once in a while, we are blessed with the opportunity to be a part of a pure union of two soul mates. I can tell you, that tonight, I was blessed with this opportunity. Czarina and Patrick married at the Phoenix zoo in a wedding all their own. From the heartfelt vows to the non-traditional orange/red wedding dress, they did things their way. And their way at times may seem a tad crazy, but that is them, and they love eachother for every inch of craziness eachother posesses, as do I. I almost cried last night when one of my all time fav brides married her prince charming. Corissa, Spencer and I have spent a lot of time together these past months, check out their many engagement sessions, lol! She even stalked me and showed at Heather and James' wedding, LOL. ( that's a joke, thanks for the referral hun!) Anyways, the two of them are so in love, and just an absolute beautiful couple. Corissa did have to have everything perfect :) , but she deserves it! She has a heart bigger than most people I know. I feel more like their friend than photographer, and that is a good feeling to have. Enjoy your previews and don't get too wild in Mexico! I went out to Sun City today to photograph the wedding of Travis and Shawna. They were married at Dillon's restaurant at the lakeside pavillion with an intimate setting of family and friends as their guests. Shawna, you were gorgeous, and despite me tracking you through soggy grass and your heals getting stuck, you were such a trooper and we got some amazing shots of the two of you. So a good friend from college found me and asked me to come take some shots of her two girls last night. The oldest was a ham for the camera, she loved every bit of it, although she wanted to play on the playground equipment, she was a good sport most of the time. K, the youngest was far from cooperative and wanted little to nothing to do with the experience, but that is the age. Still we got some good shots of the girls. Just a couple shared for you Maura.

I absolutely love this couple. Janina and Casey are such a genuine pair. I spent along day with them yesterday, beginning at 9am and going on into the night. You may remember them from a while back when we shot their engagement session at Arizona Falls, and there was no water! You can see their engagement photos here. They were married yesterday athe the Mesa LDS temple and had a beautiful reception at the Wright House. Here are a few pictures for you two and enjoy your Honeymoon! I had the pleasure fo photographing these beautiful boys today. They were so opposite, when one would sleep the other was awake, and we definately know that Brennan loves the camera! Brice was fussy most the time, but Brennan ate it up, even when he peed on the props, he was having a good time!

So, a few weeks back I shot Corissa and Spencer's engagement session. As some of you may remember, Corissa took a little longer doing her hair than was planned for and we ended up shooting in the dark, entirely missing the sunset that we had wanted to shoot. So we decided to do a mini-engagement shoot at Scottsdale's Civic Center Plaza tonight.. and we were all on time! So Last night was crazy, for about 2 hours straight it was a constant stream of lighting bolts across our desert skies. Huge wind gusts 90-100 mph, hail, and the most eeriest lighting show I have ever seen left tons of downed power lines, flooded streets, destructed buildings and uprooted trees. I ran outside in between the hail and rain and grabbed this shot of the night sky.

I will try to keep my customers updated on the blog as to open dates for Holiday and Seasonal Portrait Sessions. Currently September is booked and October only has a few dates left open. We will not be offering any more mini-sessions until November with those dates still to be announced. I am taking this last few days to relax, while I am all caught up with ALL my editing, yippee!! Wedding season starts in full force for me September 6th, and there will be plenty of purdy pictures for all my blog stalkers out there, wave..
