Congratulations on your engagement and
welcome to the exciting time of planning your wedding. I love being an Arizona
Wedding Photographer, and one of my favorite sessions to photograph is the
engagement session. These portrait
sessions allow me to get to know my bride and grooms, learn how you interact
with each other, learn your angles and body language and just get an overall
feeling for how you like to be directed, or not directed during portrait
sessions. All this knowledge helps to
ensure that your wedding day pictures come out amazingly beautiful. Arizona Engagement sessions are held any day
of the week and some weekends, usually around sunset is the most popular time
to hold engagement portrait sessions. Engagement portrait sessions usually last
about 1-2 hours and can be shot anywhere you like. Some past clients have loved Estrella
Mountain,
Papago
Park,
Tempe
Town
Lake,
the Pointe
South
Mountain,
Arizona
falls, Downtown Phoenix,
Scottsdale
Civic
Plaza,
and others. The choice is up to
you, I can suggest locations for you,
but overall the location should mean something to you as a couple, or show some
side of your personality. Your clothes
should also reflect your personality. Don’t
wear anything with busy patterns or logos and nothing too matchy… you can
compliment eachother’s colors and style, but make sure your individuality can
be seen. Khaki shorts and matching black
polos is just too formal for these candid and fun engagement shoots. I look forward to working with you very soon!
